Transactions are actions related to a purchase, sale or exchange of good(s) or service(s). Transactions are based on Products to create Orders or Portfolios.

Transaction Types
Transaction Types fall into many categories. A complete list can be found Transaction Types.
Actions
Transactions can be created or requested by a Subscriber to a Member; or created for or offered by a Member to a Subscriber.
Create
If the Group Admin has enabled Products to be created, then a Subscriber may create a transaction. The Admin will be notified of the transaction creation.
Request
If the Group Admin has disabled Products to be created, then they may only be requested. A request is initiated from a Subscriber to a Member or set of Members. The default Member will be the Admin or set of Admins.
Once the request has been received by the Member(s), then they may approve or deny the request. If the request is approved, then an Order or Portfolio is created. If the request is denied, then the requesting Subscriber is notified in a Comment on the Order or Portfolio that his/her request has been denied.
Offer
An Offer may be initiated by a Member to a Subscriber. This is the practical inverse of a request. In an offer, the Subscriber must approve or deny the creation of an Order or Portfolio.
