Integration with Centricity
Centricity is integrated with ExactTarget through APIs. ExactTarget is employed by such firms as CharlesSchwab, Anthem BlueCross, Vegas.com, and Fidelity.
Scenario
- A user is the target of an e-mail campaign
- The user receives an e-mail with optional offering(s) in the content
- The user click to register with one of the offerings
- EMS will receive the registration request (1st Opt-in), and send an e-mail to the user for confirmation
- The user receives the confirmation e-mail and respond to it (2nd Opt-in)
- The user is registered in Centricity with information about the registration and confirmation of double opt-in
Development Roadmap
July 2008
- Entry triggers: lead entries into Centricity will trigger a confirmation e-mail to produce a double opt-in.
- Double opt-in response: if a double opt-in is received by ExactTarget, then Centricity will flag this lead as having double opted in.
August 2008
- Integration of leads from Centricity to ExactTarget, including the ability to push leads to ExactTarget
- E-mail campaign triggers: e-mail campaigns can be triggered from a list in Centricity and based on a template already in in ExactTarget.
